Mitch started his career with Miller Financial in the early phases of what is now called “The Great Recession”. Early on he learned the value of not only managing client investments through turbulent times, but that many other components, including managing emotions and behaviors, help clients reach their financial life goals. The experience of those early years has shaped the "Financial Life Planning" focus of the firm and how he consults as an advisor.
Using the skills, compassion, and knowledge forged in those early years, today he enjoys working with those who value a wholistic approach of managing finances to realize life goals. He has many years of experience both as an advisor and previously a consultant working with physicians, executives, and business owners. He grew up in a home where his father was a business owner and has been involved with many businesses. He has seen and knows what it takes to be successful. He is well positioned to serve Miller Financial’s clientele.
Mitch graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University and a Master’s degree from Arizona State University. He is a student of finance and financial planning, with a quest for daily knowledge and ongoing improvement. He's friendly and analytical, using both to help his clients find and enjoy the fruits of financial success.
Mitch and his wife Mary enjoy living in the Salt Lake Valley and have been here over two decades. They have four children, varying in age and interests. When not working, they stay busy participating in their activities and supporting their goals. He loves to mountain bike, golf, ski, and fish.
